As said by KJ Jawa, Chairman and Managing Director Daikin India-
The Daikin India 3rd R&D center will look at building products which not only will sit Indian consumers but will also focus on creating technologies for the sustainability and environmental friendliness of the global consumers.
The center will Start operation in 2023 as per the company. It’ will spread over 24000sq mt and employees more than 250 engineers for the specific products. Apart from that the facility will also accommodate 22 new testing facilities and labs, which in turn increase the Company’ manufacturing competitiveness for the international markets.
As per the company “The products will suit the Indian conditions and the demand of consumers” lets focus on the highlights of the Indian conditions and the demands.
Currently just about 13percent of Indian households have AC which would increase to 69 percent by 2040.
